The world around us is filled with beautiful colours and shapes but sometimes we don't notice how interesting and attractive they can be. Together we will explore the world around us - throught the eye of a kaleidoscope. We will talk about the optics behind this amazing tool and provide you with everything needed to assemble your own kaleidoscope. You will build it, choose your own colours and shapes and get your unique patterns. Following that, we will show you how by using the camera on your mobile phone as well as various mobile apps you can achieve the same kaleidoscopic effect with the photos you take. Finally, you will exhibit your work and take your kaleidoscope home :)
